Born in Chicago, raised in the Atlanta metro area, Miriam Hammond taught in Liberia, Rwanda, Boston, and DC. She earned a BA in English from Tuskegee and a Master’s in Education from Harvard. After leaving the classroom, she worked as a data analyst for a nonprofit organization before becoming an entrepreneur.
